"Her"

"She was lying on the grass
Dirt covered her bare feet
She was a dark, boney lass
Her relaxed muscles soaked up the heat

THe tips of stalks tickled her arms
The sunlight teased her eyelids
She had no fear of harm
Her laughter had never been hid"

White Wings

Just a small portion from a story of mine... "White Wings"
"Isn’t there someone, somewhere, who can mend the broken hearted? What happens when all you feel is pain? The only ones that returns your love are those in your family? And even in your own blood there are few that care?
What happens when you’re empty and the void overtakes you? What happens, then, and who do you turn to? When everyone that has held and kissed you in love has smacked you in the face? When you are that worthless… do you just give up? Quit trying? Succumb to the defeat and lose the fight of life? Does it even matter when you really don’t care anymore?
What do you do when all you can see is your own tears running down your face?
And what happens when you no longer matter to those who truly loved you?"

Love I Confess

"I know it's soon
But I had to express
Emotions are a full moon
And Love I confess."

~From my Poem, "Love I Confess"
